The Book of Ape – Bored Roasters

Chapter 1 – Genesis, The Quest for Adventure

Ape 4290 was a young and curious chimpanzee living in the harsh wastes of the Biogenic Swamp. He was always eager to explore new things and find ways to entertain himself.

For months, Ape 4290 had been searching for something exciting to do. He had scaled the bluffs, searched for hallowcine and played with his doggo, but nothing seemed to fulfill his curiosity.

One day Ape 4290 stumbled upon a deposit of hallwocine, picked some up and caught a whiff of something magical. The aroma was rich and inviting, drawing him closer to its source.

Chapter 2 – Transformation – The Search for Identity

He followed his nose until he arrived at a remote outpost, where he saw a small café. The inviting fragrances emanating from the café drew ape 4290 out of the wastes and into a new world. This world, where the aromas of flowers, nuts, smoke, and herbs intermingle with the scents of baked bread, butter, sugar, rising yeast, and vanilla was almost too much to bear.

Being captivated by these new aromas and scents our little red ape couldn’t resist the temptation to investigate

He approached the window of the café and peered inside. The warm and cozy ambiance, with #NFT art adorning the walls was the vibe that he yearned for.

4290 watched the other apes inside, laughing and enjoying their drinks, food and art.. Worried that he would be seen, he left for the familiarity of the wastes to process what he had just experienced.

As the days passed, Ape 4290 visited the café each day, peering through the window and watching all the local apes enjoying their time together. As most apes are, he became curious about the hospitality industry and how he could contribute to the greater otherside experience.

Chapter 3 – Conviction – Bored, Sweat and (a few) Tears

He thought long and hard and after what seemed like weeks passed, he had a plan.
That plan, create Bored Roasters and have a place to call his own.

He would go to the foothills in search of the much talked about single – origin coffee beans. He knew this would be difficult as the hills were high and the coffee remote. He only wanted to deal with the best products….so this would be a price he would have to pay.

Secondly he would have to build a space. His vision was to create a social space where he and his friends could come and enjoy unique art, hand crafted beverages, healthy food and the culture that comes along when blending these together.

He worked day and night, for what seemed like eternity until it was finished. What once had been just a dream to a young ape was now now becoming his new reality.

Chapter 4 – Nirvana – Badge Unlocked

From the moment the doors swung open and the espresso started to flow it was a hit. His guests had become friends, his walls became adorned with modern art and his heart full of pride for what he created.

The aroma of single-origin coffee beans permeated the air, accented by whiffs of fresh baked goods. Memories were being made by each and every guest that came in that magical first day, and are made every day thereafter.
